Humanity cast in bronze by a conceptual master

To introduce Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti to Seattle audiences, I looked to the materials he used obsessively in his work for inspiration. A modified typeface with spindly, rough-hewn strokes and a metalwork-inspired palette evoke the exhibition’s figures and sketches, and reflect the weight of Giacometti’s artworks and his themes alike.
