Occam’s Razor collects and publishes excellent academic writing at Western Washington University. As a former intern who became lead designer for Volume 8 of OR, I managed all branding, marketing, and production for the annual issue.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Creating the branding of Occam’s Razor Vol. 8
Art direction for all materials including the journal, website, posters, and social graphics
Hiring and managing a small design team
Establishing page grid systems and type styles within the journal
Designing editorial page layouts, end pages, and infographics
Overseeing print production and distribution
Designing posters and handouts to call for submissions to the journal
